On 20 October, Tanger Alliance (TC3) welcomed the Wilhelmshaven Express, the twelfth and final vessel of the Hamburg Express Class built in 2025. Measuring 400 meters in length overall (LOA) and with a capacity of 23,664 TEUs, the vessel is currently deployed on one of Hapag-Lloyd’s East–West services (NE1 WB).
During this call, Tanger Alliance had the honor of contributing to the vessel’s distinctive coloration by loading a series of orange containers ahead of her christening ceremony at the EUROGATE Terminal in Wilhelmshaven. This gesture highlights the strong partnership between Tanger Alliance and Hapag-Lloyd and reflects the strategic role of the Tanger Med port complex as a key hub within the Gemini cooperation network.
This call represents another milestone for Tanger Alliance and showcases the efficiency and collaboration of all teams involved in handling one of the world’s largest container vessels.
